Getting fired from a dream job sucks; being fired from a dream job before you've even started must be soul crushing!

 

Perez Hilton opened up this week about losing a job that he felt would have changed his life.

 

However, the blogger -- known for exposing the nasty secrets of the rich and famous -- argued that he's "too professional" to share the details about what he was actually fired from. 

 

He claimed that the job seemed to be in the bag, and that everyone involved loved him. Well, almost everyone; he said it was someone higher up who decided to give him the boot.

 

“There is a reason this happened, and I’m sorry," he said, tearing up. “I’m sorry again, I guess I have to say that again more often. I’m sorry.”

 

He added that his biggest concern was that his two kids will have to deal with the fallout of his controversial past. 

 

“It will continue to be hard for me,” he continued. "And I’m sorry to my kids, because I know that when they get older they are going to have to suffer because of who their dad is.”

 

Aside from bullying celebs and exposing their private lives on his website, Hilton has been the center of some controversies as well. He was called out after using the word "faggot" to attack a member of the Black Eyed Peas. During his appearance on UK Celebrity Big Brother, he was known for sudden mood changes, and was criticised for saying that living with Katie Hopkins was like the AIDS crisis.

 

Don't feel too badly for the guy, as he's still making a decent living off his gossip blog.
