Next Door Male is Next Door Studio's straight boy jerk-off site. Since our last review, the site has grown hugely, and now features over 210 collegiate and stud models who strip, pose and jerk in high quality videos. Think of NDM as the audition site for men guys who will often go on to fuck guys, girls, or a combo of both on Next Door Buddies or Next Door Hookups.


All of the Next Door Studios sites have a mirror-type tour. The "Previews" area for Next Door Male provides a full model index with thumbnail sized face and body shots. Click on any particular model's pics to get a description, several video captures, and a 40 second preview clip. Click on any of the other photo or video links and you'll be taken to the sign-up page. It's an extremely thorough tour so you'll know exactly what you're going to get inside.


Next Door Male has a clean, attractive design and features smooth navigation, both between sections and within pages. The members' home page starts you right off with the scene index. Click on any model or graphical session box and you'll go to a page that includes either a model bio or a scene description, plus a photo gallery and links for the video.


Next Door Male is populated with a choice crew of 19-26 year old collegiate guys. There are a few tats and piercings thrown in, but these guys are mostly straight-up young sexy, and muscular -- without being too huge, muscled, or plucked.

The solo sessions at NDM are usually divided into three segments within the full-length video: for example, starting on a couch, moving to the shower and finishing on a bed. The more than 210 all-exclusive videos average 15 minutes in length.

Video will stream or download in Windows Media or Quicktime formats. Close to half of the videos are fast and play in a very large (720x480 pixel) window. The top speed for the older videos drops down to between 500 kbps and 300 kbps with the video playing in the more standard 320x240 window. All video is full-length only, not divided into clips. There is no DRM on the video, so you can keep it for as long as you like.

The videos are good quality. Since the top speeds on offer vary according to how recently the video was added to the site, the more recent ones stream faster and look better whether viewed in the default size or at 200%.

The sessions have an abundance of well-distributed light, clear sound, and a good range of camera angles, close-ups, medium shots and model poses. The all-important cumshots are all there.

The picture galleries average 35 images, the majority of which are digital pictures, with a few video captures thrown in. The lighting and poses in these images is definitely above average.


The sign-up process for Next Door Buddies is needlessly complicated:
- you must enter information on three separate pages.
- you will be added to a mailing list unless you check off a box at the bottom of page one.
- the pricing information does not indicated that the memberships will rebill.
- you will be signed up for a 3 day trial membership to gaypornaccess.com unless you uncheck a box.

For all of these reasons, we have docked 3 points off the "Fairness" score.
