Helix Studios provides access to a network of five sites we'll characterize as college kink. Most of the Helix Studios' video catalogue will be found in Hot Studs, Fratboy, 8TeenBoy, Spank This, and Raw Entry Club. The sites share similar navigation features and high video quality, but some of the content definitely ventures into risky territory.


The Hot Studs tour is an example of the mirror-type tours you'll find across all five sites. The episode index starts on the home page. For the first 20 or so episodes you can click on the largest of the episode images for a free, explicit, preview clip. After that there are several images per episode, but no free clips (even though it says "free clip" it isn't there.)


Navigation through the five sites varies slightly, however each site is equipped with buttons across the top of the home page linking to the model index and to the video episode index. The model indexes are cross-referenced with the DVD from which the episode is taken. Navigation between sections of each site and across sites is smooth and straightforward.

Content The cute twink and collegiate models of Helix fall mostly into the 19-24 year old age group. A few may have reached the ripe old age of 24-28, but these are in the minority. Across the more than 800 scenes you'll find solo, duo and group action in a variety of indoor settings, and outdoors around the pool or hot tub - even in the forest and what looks like a back yard.

The scenes are all full-length with no option for clips, which is a pity because we did experience some sluggishness with the downloads.

The vast majority of the video episodes, with the exception of some "Spank This" episodes are drawn from the Helix Studios DVD product line. They share high quality production values of clarity, light, sound, and a variety of camera angles, poses, and a range of medium and close-up shots. The cumshots are almost always caught, sometimes with two cameras.

Almost all of the more than 500 image galleries in the All Access sites are video captures rather than digital images, averaging approximately 65 vidcaps each. The image quality is far from perfect (although quite good for vidcaps) but they do serve to give you a preview of what you'll find in the episode.


The five site Helix Studios pass is a good showcase for the Helix line of videos. The guys are hot, the production values are high, and there is a huge amount of content.
