When we first reviewed Tyler's Room in 2006 it was already well established, and living up to its tag line: "The Most For The Least." In those days the site hosted very little original, exclusive content and a ton of video feeds from the major distributors. That was when many of the companies producing original content would add to it with some "bonus feeds" to sweeten the deal. Here we are in 2013 and Tyler has retained his formidable popularity among gay porn fans by shifting the balance. He still has a ton of video feeds but now he also has almost 350 high quality exclusive videos and a mass of non-exclusive downloadable videos from all over the world. The design, navigation, and price are also still excellent. Tyler deserves to change his tag line, because even after all these years: "Way More Still Costs Way Less."

Tour

As a non-member on the homepage you won't see any specific links to a tour but you will see that every section of the site is clearly described and easy to access. At the top of the page is "What's New Today" which features an explicit clip form the latest original video episode. Just below you'll see graphics for "Originals" and "Video Downloads". And below that, "Favorite Features". For a good preview of the original videos just hit the "Take A Tour" button and watch up to 150 explicit preview clips. The newest clips are higher quality than the oldest ones. Neither the video feeds or the video downloads have previews but as you browse through it will quickly become clear that this is a generous offering.

Usability

Navigation of this large site is better than ever due to a streamlined navigation array. There are just four buttons across the top: Home, Originals, DVDs, and Feeds. Any of these buttons links you to one of the following: the full inventory of original exclusive videos, DVD scenes that you can stream or download, and streaming video feeds in lots of niches and categories. Tyler has managed to organize this mammoth amount of content in a sensible way - and to top it off he has added a search function.

The Men and the Action

We thought you should know: the collegiate guys in the almost 350 exclusive videos are super hot! These young American and Euro guys are very impressive. You'll find every type, size, and ethnicity of model you can imagine. The pictures, scenes, and clips cover the complete spectrum of themes, settings, and action. There really is something for everyone. In the exclusive videos, the video downloads, and the massive number of image galleries, muscular young collegiate guys age 18-27 are the most common type.

Video Details

In the "Originals" and "Downloads" areas, the "Originals" tended to be better quality than the DVD downloads, but they all loaded quickly on a Flash player and streamed smoothly in Windows Media. Around 50% of the Originals are of lesser quality in the Flash version, but look excellent in the Windows Media downloads.

Just the same as for everything else on his site, Tyler has taken the time to carefully select this content. Given the varied production dates of the video scenes there's a fair amount of variation in their technical quality. The more recent ones are very good, the older ones are average and there is a large range of shooting styles and video production techniques.

A big aspect of the value of your Tyler's Room membership lies in the almost 350 original, exclusive videos. These high quality videos, many of juicy, young Euro-guys and duos, average 10 minutes in length, with a fresh update weekly. There are also almost 1800 "video downloads" which are scenes from DVDs, with new ones added each week. And don't forget the 160 video feeds. There is no DRM on the exclusive videos or the video downloads, so that's over 2000 scenes you can download and keep.

Image and Other Content

Until this year your membership in the site included two areas devoted exclusively to what we would call bonus images. These two large caches of image galleries were labelled: "Tyler's Selected Sets" and "Custom Galleries". They were a holdover from the days when Tyler had little or no original content, only feeds and pics. These bonus galleries have been taken off the site, but at this review you'll find high quality image galleries accompanying each of the 345 original videos. These can be viewed in a spectacular larger format or in a smaller standard size and average 130 images per gallery. There is an adjustable slideshow feature as well.

Here's a run-down of the feeds available in Tyler's Room:
Video - almost 150 video and DVD feeds from several major sources, including AEBN and Webmaster Central, for a total of thousands of streaming video scenes of various lengths. Some feeds are samplers of other membership sites, such as Fratmen, Jake Cruise, Czech Boys and Cruiser Boys.

Live Sex & Voyeur Sites - Pretty much every live sex and voyeur feed available can be found in some corner of Tyler's Room, including proven winners like Boys Condo and College Boys Live.
