Pat and Sam is a sexy undiscovered gem that focuses on amateur guys, and when you check out what some of these guys like to do, you'll find them pretty experienced in lots of ways. We loved the fresh faces, the comfortable atmosphere and the hot episodes on this site. And wait till you see the 30 minute video of 19 year old Trent stroking his big cock while gettin' busy with some huge toys! Hot and nasty!


The first page of the tour contains showcases 13 of the site's models with some nice large images and 90 second explicit teaser videos. Page two gives you 13 more models to preview. Click on the large image in each box and you'll a nice 800x600 pixel image of him - along with the join page. We think this is a pretty decent tour, but it does not tell you exactly how much video or photo content is actually inside.


Pat and Sam has a bit of an old-school design. The "Updates" button displays all the videos and pictures from 2007 and you can also get the Updates for 2006, but that is where the chronological lists end. The "Videos and Pictures" button is the alphabetical model index. Each model is described with a bit of bio information, and there is a link to his movies and pictures.

The almost 150 models inside Pat and Sam are true amateur guys between ages 18 and 30. Pat and Sam videos can be streamed or downloaded in Windows Media format. The high-speed videos display in a 320x240 window but the speed varies from 250 to 500 kbps. The dial-up videos are shown in a small window of 160x120 and stream at a very low bitrate. Pat and Sam does not use DRM on their videos so you can download and keep them as long as you wish.

The videos are, for the most part, average quality. There is a fair variety of medium and close shots and the hand-held cam (in combination with hearing the voice of the videographer chatting and giving direction) adds to the amateur feel. On some videos we thought the set lighting could stand to be turned up a few notches to capture more detail. Most of the cumshots are caught, but sometimes not in close-up. Other times some good spurts go right off the screen. At the same time there's a cool split screen feature that we don't see very often.

There are about 300 original image sets on the site; most are digital stills, though some from older films are vidcaps. Photos are average quality and a little on the small side at 535x400. There are no zip files or slideshows offered.


When you click "Join Now" at Pat and Sam you are told that there is a $15 per month option, but it turns out that is really a $45 90-day membership. We would recommend you take the $20 one-month non-recurring membership.

The members area of Pat and Sam has a lot more upselling for their DVDs - and for pay per view - than most sites have. Considering members have already paid money to see the models, we would like to see less advertising.


Despite any issues, Pat and Sam has one thing that really works for it: really cute regular guys in a casual, friendly, atmosphere. They aren't pornstars, they really are the guys next door. Though the videos aren't the highest quality, if you love amateurs, you should definitely check out Pat and Sam. It's our new cult favorite!
