On The Hunt taps into the huge membership base of the hookup site Manhunt and issues this tantalizing offer: "You can become a porn superstar". That's the first twist: the site has attracted a diverse group of hot Manhunt members to perform for you. A second frequent twist comes in the form of celebrity porn stars, who travel all over the U.S. to film the episodes. The roster includes Matthew Rush, Collin O'Neal, Jeremy Hall, Pierre Fitch and several others. You end up with an interesting mix of horned up amateurs interacting with their pornstar camera men. There are now almost 290 episodes in On the Hunt (counting bonus videos) and more recent videos are shot with two cameras.

The On the Hunt tour primes you up with previews of all the episodes: for some you can watch a small sample clip, for others you can get eight sample photos and a description of the action. This will give you a very good idea of what the site is all about.

Usability

Navigation is very easy, with the video and image gallery index starting right on the Member's Home Page, displaying the most recent videos first. Use the "Sort Episodes" box to sort by date or model name or to select by keyword or porn star videographer.

Up until recently the site featured only one camera video shoots, which we found a bit limiting at times. The most recent movies are shot with two cameras. At the same time there is a range of sexual styles, tastes, preferences and a few fetishes on display.

Video Details

There are some pretty hot videos on the site; its obvious that the chance to be filmed having sex is a real turn on for some of these amateur models. Most of the videos have good clarity, lighting, and sound quality, although a couple are a bit low on light. When it comes to overall composition, including editing, variety of poses, and the number of camera angles and medium and close-up shots, there is lots of variation due to the conditions and the skill levels of the celebrity porn star camera operators. The decision to leave the action "natural" and not edit very much -- and the handheld camera which moves constantly -- may take some getting used to.

The videos average almost 35 minutes each. Sometimes the interview sessions can ramble but you can always skip those if you wish, and the site's video style is meant to be "natural" and not heavily edited.

Each video page also has a gallery of ten good-sized digital photos. If you want to see more pictures you have to download a zip file of them. It would be good to see all the images in galleries as well as having the zip file choice.
