Did The Sword help former barebacker lose out on new job?

A week ago, The Sword published the story of Dominik Rider. He's a porn star who left bareback vids in hopes of securing a job with one of the major studios. Apparently no one wanted him. And because he was not offered an exclusive contract, he decided to return to barebacking.

Apparently Steve Cruz was considering giving Dominik a shot in a new film. Well, that was until Cruz read The Sword article. It brought up an interesting dilemma for the safe sex spokesman.

"Now as you all know I have a condom campaign I feel pretty strongly about... but the main point of my condom campaign is to promote sexier safe sex... and I've said this before, howiroll.info is not a crusade against bareback porn and its producers. My strategy is to be FOR something rather than against something else. So I feel challenged once again by my beliefs."

It will be interesting to see what Cruz decides to do. However, we think that after Dominik's return to his old ways, it's unlikely he'll be getting the part. Still, stranger things have happened ...
