Former faux lesbian comes out as a homophobe

One half of the former "lesbian" duo t.A.T.u. has declared, in no uncertain terms, that she doesn't want a queer son.

During an interview on Russian television, singer Julia Volkova (pictured) was asked about how she would react if she had a gay son.

"I would condemn him, because I believe that a real man must be a real man," she answered. "God created man for procreation, it is the nature. The man for me is the support, the strength of... I won't support gay son. And a man has no right to be a fag. ... But! I want to say that I'm not against gays, I just want my son to be a real man, not a fag."

t.A.T.u. had a few major hits in 2003. The duo marketed themselves as school girls in love who didn't care what others thought about their relationship. It was later revealed they were both actually straight.

This may explain why Volkova, hater of gay boys, was less offended by the thought of a lesbian daughter. She explained: "Two girls together - not the same thing as the two men together. It seems to me that lesbians look aesthetically much nicer than two men holding their hands or kissing."

But don't worry, because she has gay friends and thinks they are so much better than "murderers, thieves and drug addicts." She's practically a saint!

Volkova's musical better half, Lena Katina, quickly distanced herself from her former partner. She took to Facebook to reiterate her support for the LGBT community.

Obviously Lena was the brains of the group.
