The gay porn industry just shrunk again.

Popular military-themed site Active Duty, which features amateur, all-American military guys in hardcore and solo videos, has been acquired by Next Door Entertainment’s Buddy Profits. Dink Flamingo will continue as Active Duty's lead director.

 

“I am very pleased that Dink has agreed that Buddy Profits is best able to ensure the continuity of his ‘labor of love’ and the ongoing growth of the Active Duty brand," said Stephan Sirard, President of Next Door Entertainment. "I have a great deal of respect for Dink, what he has accomplished in this industry, and the brand that he has created. Our intention is to stay true to his vision while extending our reach into the military fetish niche.”

 

Dink Flamingo, who founded of Active Duty added: “I’m very happy Active Duty has found a new home within the Buddy Profits program. Flamingo explained that he was ready for a change. “I’ve always known that my true strength was recruiting the right talent to create a very popular product," he explained. "I was never a marketing person or a business genius. I did the best I could with what I had. This deal will allow me to continue doing what I love most about my job and leaving the rest to the talented minds at Buddy Profits. Together our combined talents will make Active Duty better than it’s ever been. I’m very excited about the future.”

 

The site will show off its brand new look on December 15.
