That time Russell Tovey's half naked body made a man faint

Russell ToveyFainting at a play is embarrassing. Fainting at a play because you saw Russell Tovey shirtless? Mortifying, according to one man.

A theater fan admitted he was "mortified" after he fainted during a performance of A View From the Bridge at the Lyceum Theatre in New York City. It happened after Tovey removed his shirt on stage. And to make matters worse, he was seated in the stage seats and actually fell into the performance!

Of course, the play was stopped as people feared that Davin Cutchall had just had a heart attack.

After being taken to a nearby hospital, Cutchall tweeted: “Doctors and tests revealed I did not have a cardiac event. I was mortified when I came to. Feeling much better. How can I just skip the ending of the play??”

Cutchall later explained that he was a huge Tovey fan and had driven six hours to watch the actor in the Arthur Miller play.

Speaking to Heat magazine, Tovey said that he wanted to publicly apologize for the unexpected effect his body had on audience members.

“On behalf of my arms and nipples, I feel the need to publicly apologize for the effects felt by one of our audience members on a dark winter night in New York City."

Not all was lost, as Cutchall bought tickets to a matinee performance and was able to see the complete show without fainting.

Good thing the performance didn't call for Tovey to show his penis ... Cutchall's head would have literally exploded!
