Next Door Studios moves to Las Vegas

Next Door StudiosNext Door Studios has decided to leave its former digs in San Francisco and move all of its studio operations to Las Vegas.

President Stephan Sirard said that the move would give them a chance to explore new surroundings for production; after 15 years in the same place, a move would offer a refreshing new look to the videos.

“After many years in the San Francisco Bay Area, we decided it was time for a change,” Sirard said. “Las Vegas provides an exciting new backdrop for our scenes and we’re excited to bring our fans what they’ve been asking for — more guys worth watching.

“Everything about Las Vegas is perfect. A busy international airport, 24 hour studios and the weather is amazing — as if our guys need an excuse to take their clothes off!"

And fans won't have long to wait; new scenes will be shot as early as July 15.

“Early cuts of the new scenes we’ve shot in Las Vegas are getting spectacular reviews,” studio director Rocco Fallon added. “I know that our models are thrilled to be in our newly upgraded and fresh location, and that enthusiasm is really reflected on camera along with the new location backdrop."

Next Door does not focus heavily on bareback productions, though it has created a new site devoted to raw sex; one has to wonder if the move also coincides with an upcoming ballot initiative that could see condom use mandated for all porn productions in California. If passed, the initiative would also allow private citizens to sue actors and producers if a condom does not appear in a hardcore sex scene.
