After the huge success of "Grunts," Raging Stallion Studios is planning another gay-porn epic. The video, "To the Last Man," is based on a classic Zane Grey novel set in the Old West and will cost the studio at least $200,000. The studio  also plan to inject some Quentin Tarantinoesque violence in the video with an over-the-top shoot-em-up ending.

"Not to worry," said RSS president Chris Ward. "There is a non-violent, all-sex edit for consumers who do not want to see all the mayhem. This movie is going to go where no porn film has gone before. It's really a gay marriage between adult and mainstream product that tells a story and shows lots of amazing sex.

"Some of the scenes will be pretty controversial. There is one scene in particular that is very upsetting," he added. He refused to elaborate.

The video will feature Ricky Sinz and Scott Tanner as rival ranchers at odds over water rights. Jake Deckard, Damien Crosse, Logan McCree, R.J. Danvers, Tristan Jaxx, Bo Matthews, Antonio Biaggi and Damian Rios will also appear.

"We really enjoy shooting blockbuster films," Ward said. "All of us are really looking forward to doing a real, honest-to-goodness western. It's a sexy genre, and it really goes with our company name." Really.

Principal photography began on Thursday and should conclude in 3 weeks, but you'll have to wait until Thanksgiving weekend before the DVD will be available.

The plot for Mustang's "Vanished" is a simple one: Jake Dakota goes looking for his best friend Tyler Saint who has vanished without a trace (cue scary music).

Who knew a three-part 556 minute video inspired by the Iraq War would be such a hit among industry types, critics, and the general public? Well, Raging Stallion Studio's "GRUNTS" trilogy, featuring 21 men with rifles up and asses ready for inspection, has done just that while proving that DVD sales aren't quite dead.

The movie is set in a boot camp for Iraq-bound recruits, and you know what soldiers do when before they lay their lives on the line ... they jerk-off, suck and fuck themselves to exhaustion. And it all culminates in a free-for-all orgy after an ingredient in the experimental gay bomb, "hydrospastic nitrate," is accidentally released into the barracks.

At the 2008 GayVN Awards in February, "GRUNTS" -- released as "The New Recruits," "Misconduct," and "Brothers in Arms" -- picked up awards for Best Picture, Director, Actor (Jake Deckard), Supporting Actor (Ricky Sinz), Sex Scene, Editing and Art Direction.  More recently they took four Grabby Awards.

If you've ever been curious about what goes on behind the scenes of a porn film shoot, you may want to check out Chi Chi LaRue's “Live and Raw” tomorrow where she is offering a special, live online broadcast at 6pm (PST).

Cameron Marshal and Ryan Alexander will be directed by Doug Jeffries for the upcoming feature, “Cameron Marshal: In Your Face.” But surfers will also get to watch the cast and crew interacting with the director, and see how scenes are actually set up.

It's not often that porn producers find their inspiration in the halls of academia (unless you consider all those fratboy films), but director Kristofer Weston turned to the work of 19th century philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer for his latest video, "Strong Will: The Assertion."

“’Strong Will’ is a simple story,” Weston said. “Eight students give in to the will of the flesh rather than the will of their minds. This is one of the philosophies Schopenhauer warns against in the philosophy book that gets passed around from scene to scene.

“This movie will be interpreted differently by each viewer, but one will really have to know the philosophy behind Schopenhauer to truly understand it.”

“Thankfully these eight Buckshot Men don't dwell on the book very long and we get to see some real chemistry between each of them,” Weston said. “It's always been our Buckshot philosophy to shoot clean boys doing dirty things; however, these boys may be more into sex than philosophy. Either way, it’s a win-win for the viewer.”

Once again the very best in gay porn was feted and fondled in Chicago on the weekend at the 2008 Grabby Erotic Video Awards. This is the 15th anniversary of the awards with the very first Grabbys being announced in "Gay Chicago Magazine" back in 1993. It wasn't until 2000 that the awards were given out live, initially (and appropriately) at the Man's Country Bathhouse.

Some of the front runners this year included Raging Stallion's "Grunts" with ten nominations and Hot House's "Verboten 1 and 2" with seven. However, it was "Link: The Evolution" from All Worlds Video that threatened to be this year's biggest winner with an impressive thirteen noms.

Chicago-based Big Dik Factory understands some people may raise a stink about its latest flick, "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden," but they feel it's time for a new fetish to take center stage in gay porn: farts.

The studio is offering a rip roaring good time with "super hot jock Joe Fartanello." Director Toby Ross, says this first DVD is currently in production, but promises the video will not be just a “fart marathon,” saying “That shit could kill you.

“We have a gay kid who is in love with the hetero college prankster," Ross says. "The prankster wants nothing to do with our gay boy until one day, he cuts a deal with him. ‘You can suck me as long as I can fart while you do that,’ so it happens, and as the action goes on and the prankster cuts the cheese while being sucked, they both get engulfed in the raunchiness of this trip but from two different perspectives.

"I am into the psychological aspect of sex. Besides, we are based in Chicago," Ross added. "They don’t call it the Windy City for nothing."

Imagine the poor cameraman hired to film the damn thing. Can you even shoot quality porn with a gas mask on?

The 14th Annual Hard Choice Awards were announced last week and this year's line-up of winners is an impressive one. The Awards recognize the best in gay porn from 2007 according to the one and only Onan the Vulgarian from xxfactor.com (yes, "XFactor" magazine may have ceased publication last year, but it lives on in cyberspace).
