This year's review update of FreshmanX is definitely an enjoyable experience. Due to an aggressive update schedule the site has more than doubled in size and the over 40% of the videos that are shot in high-definition are crystal clear. The site is packed with cute college-aged guys sporting tight bodies, big dicks and even bigger libidos. Combine that with almost 350 videos, an advanced search feature, and rapid growth at a pace of three videos and three photo gallery updates per week, and FreshmanX gets high marks for heat.

Tour

The FreshmanX tour starts right on the main page and presents an accurate and fairly complete overview of member content. You can scroll through the entire "Hardcore" video index where each episode has a preview clip and images. Or you can click on “Models” for a comprehensive listing of FreshmanX performers – perhaps the sexiest yearbook ever assembled! We do question the claim that the videos are "DVD quality"; some may be excellent quality, but upsized to the size of a plasma TV they are not going to look like a DVD movie.

Usability

Once inside the FreshmanX members’ area, navigation is pretty much the same as in the tour: updates are arranged in chronological order, and models are introduced in the “Models” area, the most recent guy listed first. An “Arriving Soon” sidebar gives a glimpse of upcoming features. The site design – simple to use directional buttons and large, clear image icons – makes it easy to navigate. Since our last review the site has added a comprehensive advanced search feature.

The Men and the Action

As the name suggests, the men of FreshmanX are classic collegiate and young masculine guys: cute, generally smooth, and not too skinny. The solos and hardcore episodes are shot indoors and include enthusiastic sucking, rimming, fucking, facials, and a few toys. Many of the guys are from all over the U.S., and there are a few from Latin America and Europe. Each episode includes a detailed text description; and some have on-camera interviews of the new guys and the couples who have been paired up for a video shoot.

Overall, the videos are simple but solidly made. Usually shot with a single hand-held camera, they nonetheless manage to capture all the solo or duo action without distracting blurs, shakes or skips. The lighting is even and the sound – especially important for the brief interviews at the beginning of every scene – is consistently clear. The camera always catches cumshots, and sometimes follows the models into the shower for their cleanup sessions.

Currently, FreshmanX offers over 350 exclusive videos, each clocking in at around 18 minutes -- and with three updates per week, its catalog is quickly growing. All of the videos are offered DRM-free, which means that you can enjoy them even after you're no longer a member.

Image and Other Content

Alongside its large video collection, FreshmanX hosts a large selection of digital images -- some 350 galleries, each averaging almost 200 high-res photos -- which can also be viewed in medium and low resolution, and downloaded in zip files.
