Yes, "Will & Grace" IS coming back

Will & Grace

It is official: NBC has ordered 10 new episodes of Will & Grace.

The show's four regulars -- Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally -- are all on board, and the episodes will air sometime during the 2017-2018 TV season.

Leslie Jordan, who played Karen Walker's arch-enemy Beverley Leslie, was the first to reveal that a new season was in the works. However, Messing later contradicted him and claimed that nothing had been confirmed.

“We’re thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back," NBC entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said. "This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary -- all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture -- is coming back where it belongs.”

“Dave and I are absolutely thrilled about the opportunity to write what Will, Grace, Jack and Karen are thinking about in 2017," added the show's producer, Max Mutchnick.
