Trixie Mattel: "Mama Don't Make Me Put On The Dress Again"

It's not often that you hear the words "drag queen" and "country music" in the same sentence, but Trixie Mattel is hoping to change that.

Like some other queens who competed on RuPaul's Drag Race -- such as Alaska Thunderfuck and Sharon Needles -- Trixie is using her new found fame to help sell records. But unlike the others, she has picked up a guitar and is going full on country, y'all!

She described the album as “six beautiful little folk songs narrating the life of a recently heartbroken cross-dresser.”

The album, Two Birds, will be released, May 2.
