Dink Flamingo's Active Duty has one big plus: real US Marines, with awesomely cute faces and gorgeous cut bodies, sculpted by the military. In late 2011 the site, operated by the famous Dink Flamingo, underwent a complete redesign and started offering way more video in much higher quality than previously. There are over 600 videos now, updated twice weekly, plus daily live shows and reams of bonus content. Fans of military amateurs will love the new Active Duty.

Tour

The free area of Active Duty is still somewhat of a jumble, though much improved. There are still no sample video clips, but there is now a complete listing of all the scenes available, each with a gallery of small images and detailed description. Sometimes you'll see a "Free Tour" button which goes to a one-page description of what is available on the site. The large invitation to join for as little as $19.95 is slightly misleading as this is the cost of a two day trial, not a monthly membership (which is now $34.95.)

Usability

Navigation of Active Duty is better than before, though it's still a bit busy. Most of the sections below allow you to sort by title, recency and popularity. On the scene pages there are topic tags and cross-references to the models' scenes.

"Scenes" is the list of all the 435 video scenes that have been or will be released on DVDs.
"DVDs" is an index of DVD titles, which will link to the scenes (not all scenes are available to watch)
"War Chest" is an additional trove of 195 solo videos that are shot for the website.
"Live" links to live shows, with a new one added daily; there's also a dropdown list of 600 archived shows (but no picture index.)

The Men and the Action

The models on "Active Duty" are in the 19-25 age range. There are some absolute stunners, all with buzz cuts of course; and there are huge dicks, muscular builds, complex tats, and marble smooth skin. The more experienced recruits take the newbies through their initial sessions, some of them look ridiculously baby-faced and tentative as they begin their new part-time jobs.

As in many sites, these buff young men work their way along the path from solo sessions, to hot duos, and some all-out group action. Most of the scenes are solos that take place primarily in the Active Duty home-based studio, and for the live shows, in each military stud's home. Included are solo jerk-offs, sucking, rimming, fucking and the use of a few toys. There are some bareback scenes on this site but they aren't labelled, and recent scenes use condoms.

Video Details

The viewing quality of the videos is good to very good. But keep in mind that these are meant to have an amateur feel to them, so there's no slick editing and the scenes are filmed with one handheld camera.

The archive of live streaming shows vary greatly in video quality and stream only. They're filmed by a stationary camera with an almost complete lack of different angles and shots. The young military hotties operate the live cam, put on a sex show, and talk to the real-time viewer, including you -- if you tune in at the scheduled time. There are hundreds of these episodes, each with its own dynamic.

The primary sources of video content for members are the 435 regular scenes and the 195 War Chest scenes; each of these sections is updated weekly. You can now download, but there is strict DRM on the videos so you can only watch them as long as you are a paying member.

Image and Other Content

Active Duty also provides more than 580 galleries of good-quality digital and video capture images. The galleries average 70 average-sized pictures. Another improvement to the site is the addition of zip file downloads and slide-show mode.

If you click on "Bonus Sites" you'll find links to My Straight Buddy and the studio site Dirty Bird Pictures. There are also links here to 17 video feeds from AEBN. This adds up to a pretty good chunk of extra content.

Summing Up

Dink Flamingo's Active Duty exploits a pool of the world's sexiest young military and ex-military amateurs. These smooth athletic guys seem at ease, with the confidence that only the military can instill, and we get a voyeuristic look at guys who probably go home to the girlfriend and the pit bull. This is genuine hot stuff and the improvements made in 2011 are tremendous.
