Bud Light releases tran-positive ad

A new Bud Light commercial is hoping to sell more beer by being more inclusive.

The ad, featuring Amy Schumer and Seth Rogan, has the two promising the bring America together for “men, women, people of all genders."

Schumer goes a bit further: “But, you know, gender identity it’s really a spectrum and we don’t need these labels. Beer should have labels, not people! We don’t care, we will sell you beer. We’ll sell you a beer any day of the week.”

“In our newest spot, Seth and Amy remind Americans that labels belong on beer, not people — a message Bud Light proudly supports," explained Bud Light Vice President Alex Lambrecht.

In June, Schumer and Rogan appeared in an ad celebrating same-sex weddings in honour of Pride Month.
