Gay cannibal wannabe

A German who says he was inspired by the notorious gay sex cannibal Armin Meiwes has been imprisoned for murdering a chat-room trick with the intention of eating him.

Ralf M confessed to killing the man with a screwdriver during sex. He chopped up his victim and stored the body parts to eat later. However, M could not go through with the act ... and instead fed the parts to his cat.

The court ruled that M should be detained for 13 years, and  be sent for psychiatric treatment.

Last year Armin Meiwes was was tried for killing and eating a willing partner. He was sentenced to 8 1/2 years in prison for manslaughter.
