UK restricts porn video sales

The UK High Court has ruled that adult videos and DVDs cannot be sold by mail order, online stores or phone. That means that the only way an adult video can be sold is in a bricks-and-mortar porn shop.

The aim of the law is to prevent kids from obtaining adult materials. Porn merchants have argued that the ruling will harm UK mail order firms and benefit overseas companies who are not restricted by the law.
