Mormon mix-up

People who buy "Sons of Provo" expect to view an amusing mockumentary about 3 young musicians who set out to be the world's foremost Mormon boy band. But due to a packaging error some Utah movie lovers instead found themselves watching  "Adored: Diary of a Male Porn Star," the story of an Italian porn star's reunion with his family.

Deseret Book pulled the film from its shelves after two local families complained. When news broke of the mix-up the film found itself attached with the moniker "Sons of Porno."

The distributors of both "Adored" and "Sons of Provo" hired the same L.A. company to duplicate their movies for DVD sales. Somehow or other, the "Adored" DVDs got mixed in with "Sons of Provo"  and were shipped to Utah.  "Sons of Provo" has been recalled and a new shipment could be back on the  shelves within a few days.
