Probation for site owner

There's a price for everything, including "free" porn,  as evidenced by the travails of  former Florida police officer Chris Wilson.  Wilson, 28 was given five years' probation last  Friday for running an amateur porn website on which he offered soldiers free porn -- in exchange for photos of dead bodies, of course.

Wilson pleaded no contest to five misdemeanor charges of possession of obscene materials in January, according to AVN Online; prosecutors dropped 296 other charges against him.

Wilson granted free access to his website to soldiers who provided him with images of charred and dismembered bodies belonging to insurgents from Iraq and Afghanistan - which he published on his site. When he was arrested in October, however, it was ostensibly for the porn, not for the graphic war photos.

Military officials have said they will not pursue further action against Wilson, who has promised to stay out of the adult website business as part of his probation. The selective use of obscenity laws to punish an individual for the "crime" of publishing distasteful - but non-pornographic - war photos is, somehow, not surprising given the current political climate.
