Wild and wet

A man and a woman got themselves in hot water last weekend when a motel sex romp went awry, flooding 8 rooms and causing $15,000 in damage. Police were called to search the couple's room at the Comfort Inn located on Seawall Boulevard in Galveston after a water pipe broke.

Aside from the telltale broken pipe, the search turned up  marijuana and sex toys -- clues that the duo were up to no good.

After some questioning, the couple eventually admitted that they had tied a rope around the man’s neck and attached it to the sprinkler system so that he could get off while asphyxiating. 

“They thought the pipe would support the man’s weight,” said a police spokeman. “That proved to be wrong.”

An embarassed  45-year-old man and 35 year-old women were charged with criminal mischief and possession of pot. Dabblers in erotic asphyxia take heed: playing with plumbing can put a damper on your evening.
