Shocking student pranks

Sometimes high school is more of a circus than a place of learning. Take, for instance, two recent pranks at high schools in Great Britain and Ohio. Putting the male member front and center, they're clearly the work of some imaginative class clowns.

First, at the United Kingdom's Bellemoor School for boys in Southampton, satellite images have captured the outline of a giant phallus in the school's lawn. According to  The Guardian, the vandalism was committed two years ago when a pair of students used weed killer to burn a 20-foot penis into the grass. And while the field has long since been re-seeded, the joke will live on forever thanks to the miracle of Web-based satellite image services such as  Windows Live Search and Google Maps.

                   

Meanwhile, in small town Ohio, a gifted 18-year-old student decided to streak through the cafeteria at Westerville North High School wearing nothing but a thin layer of grapeseed oil, which he'd rubbed all over his body to facilitate a slippery escape. That escape was foiled, however, when a police officer monitoring the lunch room zapped him twice with his Taser.

"The officer, Doug Staysniak, said he saw a naked man with a full beard and shoulder-length hair, yelling, screaming and flailing his arms as if out of control, enter the high school's commons area where lunch is served," reported WBNS-TV, according to USA Today. "Staysniak told police that the man, whom he did not recognize, appeared very pale and looked to be sweating profusely."

The student, Taylor Killian, is sweating even more now. He faces criminal charges for inducing panic, public indecency, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Streaking, it seems, is a serious crime in the post 9/11 world, and not one that any amount of grapeseed oil will help!
