Cuadra affidavit brims with damning allegations

The 21-page affidavit, which outlines the evidence behind the charges of murdering Bryan Kocis, owner of Cobra Video, sounds more like the plot for a bad TV Movie.

BananaGuide reported on the arrests last week, but a copy of the actual affidavit was not readily available. Until now! Sifting through the report, the allegations are detailed and the evidence does not look good for Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes, accused of killing Kocis.

Yahoo has helped in the investigations by confirming the IP addresses of supposedly anonymous e-mail accounts. They reference an e-mail set-up by Cuadra, the same address used by model Danny Moulin requesting an interview to appear in one of Kocis' films. The picture used by Moulin to set up the meeting is reported to be that of Cuadra.

There was also a case of beach blanket bugging in which Cuadra visited a San Diego nude beach with Sean Lockhart (aka Brent Corrigan). During their day in the sand, Cuadra allegedly admitted to being in the Kocis home when the killing took place.

Police also claim they can trace the movement of the accused leading up the murder, from purchasing a knife in Virginia Beach at a pawn shop, to the hotel they stayed in close to the victim's home. The mileage in their rented Nissan indicates the possible travel to and from the murder site. 

Cuadra and Kerekes are currently facing extradition to Luzerne County where they will be formally charged with the murder. Because their assets have been frozen due to recent rackateering charges, they will be represented by public defenders.
