Showing off for a good cause

Spencer Tunick, an American artist best known for convincing thousands to strip en masse for his photographs, is looking for people willing to expose themselves to the elements to help increase awareness of global warming.

The photo-shoot will take place on a glacier in Switzerland this August. The ice won't be the only thing suffering from shrinkage that day!

The use of nudity to bring attention to a problem is, thankfully, nothing new. PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, convinced models and stars to strip down for their "Rather go naked than wear fur" campaign. And each year, bike enthusiasts ride nude to encourage people to give up their cars.

Naked protesters... Even if you disagree with their message, you have to love the way they get their point across.
