It's not easy hating gays

Tinky Winky vs PolandThe Kaczynski twins probably wish they could have stayed in bed this year. The two men, Polish Prime Minister Jaroslaw and Polish President Lech, were roundly rebuked by the Council of Europe Human Rights because of their government's terrible record of anti-gay bias.

From banning Pride parades, to hoping to criminalize "homosexual propaganda" in schools, the two men have been active in their campaign against what they consider a virulent gay agenda.

"I think we should remember that one of the groups that were targeted by the Nazis were homosexuals, and we should really avoid to fall into that trap now," Council Commissioner Thomas Hammarberg advised Jaroslaw.

Now to make matters worse -- for the brothers, tee hee -- the European Pride Committee has decided to hold Europride 2010 in Warsaw. It is a chance to stand up to the bullies of former Communist countries. As committee president Robert Kastl stated, "Other cities such as Moscow and Riga have to learn that it is unacceptable in Europe to prohibit gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered individuals from appearing in public."

A Grand Marshal has not yet been named for the parade, but we would like to nominate Tinky Winky. No... seriously!
