Robertson supports Giuliani for President

If hell has frozen over, we did not get the memo. Apparently evangelical Pat "Pain in the Ass" Robertson (insert booing here) has announced his support for a Republican candidate for president. No surprise, right? Of course not... Except the man he thinks is best suited to lead the United States has dressed in drag, kissed Donald Trump, is pro-choice, and likes gay people.

Robertson is a staunch social conservative and has claimed homosexuality causes floods, hurricanes, and terrorist bombings. It makes his announcement yesterday at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. that much more peculiar. "I thought it was important for me to make it clear that Rudy Giuliani is more than acceptable to people of faith," said Robertson. "Given the fractured nature of the process, I thought it was time to solidify around one candidate."

Robertson even went so far as to claim the "fringe" in the social conservative movement may not agree with Giuliani, but that the "core know better."

Huh? But we thought Robertson was the fringe!
