Just an innocent nude swim

Naked men have been given time at a local pool in Manchester, England to strip bare and swim  much to the chagrin of local families. Some parents have already taken their kids out of swimming lessons in protest, even though the nudity takes place behind closed doors.

Naked Swim, a gay naturist group, uses the pool and the sauna once a week. During these sessions, other swimmers are asked to use different pools at the center.

Elaine Howarth said: “I am all for people having their own get-togethers, but why do they have to be naked?"

Lynne Mills added: “This is a community pool used by pensioners and children. I am concerned about the hygiene aspect. They do not let children in pools without wearing clothes so why should it be different for adults?”

A spokeswoman said there had been just two complaints. "This is no less sanitary than bathing with a swimsuit and our pools are well maintained, filtered and chlorinated to maintain high standards of cleanliness for all swimming sessions"

What trouble could a group of naked gay men possibly get up to in the pool? Oh... well, the chlorine will take care of that.
