Their day in court... finally

Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes may finally get their day in court. The two men, charged with the murder of porn producer Bryan Kocis, will face prosecutors on Sept. 2.

Kerekes' attorneys claim they can prove their client was at a Plains Township motel when Kocis was being murdered and have requested that, due to a lack of evidence, charges against Kerekes be dropped. The judge has not yet ruled on this request.

However, the judge did request that prosecutors update their list of witnesses who may be able to refute Kerekes' alibi. The prosecutors later presented the names 385 potential witnesses, though the judge warned that only individuals who knew Kerekes was not at the hotel will be permitted.

Shelley Centini, a Kerekes attorney, is also looking into a psychiatric evaluation for her client. They may use the findings during the trial.
