Mother surprised when discount cartoon DVD is really adult gay pornNo, Target is not expanding into the gay porn market, though one mother in James City, Virginia may think twice before picking up another discount cartoon DVD from the superstore.

"It was sealed in the package, just like any DVD," she said. "I opened it, put it in the player and went into the kitchen. I heard my son scream, and when I went to check on him, instead of Batman the screen had three men on it, one of whom had no pants on."

When she scrambled to remove the DVD, she noticed that the disc itself was not marked with any identifying information, as if it had been burned on someone's home computer.

"It’s not unusual for a discount disc to have very little text on it," she said. "I didn’t really look at it when I put it in."

The store manager admitted this was not the first time a discount DVD had been returned for the same reason, although Target spokesman Anne Rodgers disagreed. "We are continuing to research this, but at this time we believe this is a single isolated incident specific to this store," she said.

The mother promised to be more vigilant in the future. "You can bet I’ll look at the next DVD I buy before I put it on," she said, as she sent her children to play "Grand Theft Auto IV."
