Not without a condom

We think bungee jumping is just plain crazy. But one man took crazy to a whole new level when he performed a bungee jump using a 30 meter rope made of 18,500 condoms.

The Portuguese-born man known only as Carl jumped in the city of Durban in South Africa, relying on a rope his friend Michael “Sniper” Xaba spent four months fashioning out of the prophylactics.

Carl, 37, said: "It was difficult as the condoms are slippery. When we tied knots they would just slip out. Latex is latex. But the cord was based on a mathematical formula and although I was 99 per cent sure that it would work, my stomach was in a knot for a month before the jump."

We're hoping they didn't use lubricated condoms; that could have been very messy for so many reasons.
