Michael Brandon struggling with meth, arrest

Michael Brandon arrested for drug dealingAlmost a year ago Michael Brandon simply fell off the face of the earth. He was no longer blogging and he seemed to have taken a break from his work at Raging Stallion Studios.

He was best known for his large cock, nicknamed "Monster," that mercilessly pounded the holes of eager bottoms. He also became the spokesman for the anti-PnP forces trying to wean gay men off the dangerous combo of hardcore drugs and unsafe sex.

It was October 2007, when Brandon first called in sick to work, Raging Stallion co-owner Kent Taylor said. Brandon took a week off. Then two. Then he just didn't call anymore. "He was a partner," Taylor said. "He's still one of the owners of the company, and he's just disappeared."

They eventually replaced Brandon in the office. "It was one of the few times since I've been in business with Chris Ward when I've actually seen him cry," Taylor said.

He resurfaced this Wednesday in an interview with SF Weekly. Sadly, things have not been good for the porn icon.

Brandon is a meth addict and is facing criminal charges for selling crystal meth, speed and ecstasy. He had already spent more than three years in state prison before cleaning himself up and making a name for himself in the porn world.

"For most of the past year, Brandon said he had spent much of his time in motels and on the streets, injecting himself with meth and getting involved in drug deals," journalist Ashley Harrell reports. "When (his current) hearing was over, he expected to go directly to a motel to shoot up. It's not something he's proud of, but he can't manage to stop yet. He seemed to be in disbelief that it had come to this."

The article is a depressing one to say the least, but certainly worth reading. Check out "The rise and fall of the Monster" on SFweekly.com.
