No nude voting in Florida county

The naturists of Caliente Resort were hoping for a naked day at a polling station come this Tuesday, but a Pasco County, Florida, elections official has put an end to their dreams.

Brian Corley, Pasco's supervisor of elections, attacked the request as nothing more than a publicity stunt. "I think they're just doing some marketing hype," he said. He also claimed that there wouldn't have been enough time to fulfill the request had he agreed because he's only willing to add new polling precincts once every ten years. Power hungry bitch!

"Even if I was behind what they were asking for — which I explained I am not — it's just too much to ask right now," Corley said.

"They can do absentees," County Commissioner Pat Mulieri added. "They can do early voting — I mean, they do leave the place."

Oh well, even for us the right to vote naked is fairly far down on the list of social reforms.
