Porn contest takes stand against piracy

So You Think You Can Steal?

In the most recent episode of Dominic Ford's So You Think You Can Fuck competition, the teams were challenged to create a Public Service Announcement for anti piracy company Porn Guardian.

Each week the 6 contestants are pitted against each other in a race to become America's next Favorite Porn Star. And each week the contestants, divided into two teams, compete in a group challenge. This week's episode is called "So You Think You Can Steal?"

Team leaders Mitch Vaughn and Topher DiMaggio were each given a fact sheet about piracy. The two teams then had only 30 minutes to create and rehearse a PSA aimed at discouraging people from pirating videos.

Porn Guardian owners were then invited to judge both videos and decide on a winner.

"The fight against piracy is very important to me," explained Dominic Ford, who is also a co-owner of Porn Guardian. "This year, as we were looking at what elements we wanted to be part of SYTYCF, it was obvious to me that Porn Guardian and a strong anti-piracy message had to be represented.

"Our show gets viewed by hundreds of thousands of people, which makes it a terrific platform to get important messages across to a lot of people in a fun, sexy way. Hopefully these two different PSAs will enlighten more people about the dangers of pirating videos, and the impact it has on our industry."
