Ron Jeremy in critical condition following aneurysm

Ron Jeremy, probably one of the best known porn stars in the US, is recovering from surgery at a Los Angeles hospital. Last week, the 59-year-old suffered an aneurysm near his heart.  

The surgery was successful, said Jeremy's agent Mike Eastman, but Jeremy would remain in intensive care for several days.

"Ron is in ICU and will be there for a few days but and will remain at the hospital for at least 2 weeks until doctors can see how he reacts to the surgeries," Eastman said.

Easterman explained that the 59-year-old Jeremy was experiencing a heavy feeling in his chest and took himself to the hospital.

"Let us all wear the zipper of our pants at half-mast today," tweeted comedy writer, and friend, Bill Dixon. "Get well soon, buddy."
