New Facebook game lets Christians attack gays

Call of Taburetka

Talk about tacky! A new Facebook game, Call of Taburetka, allows players to take on the role of a floating stool-throwing priest who gains points by knocking out homosexual activists.

The game is based on the May 17 clash between LGBT rights defenders and anti-gay thugs, including priests, in Tbilisi, Georgia. The incident took place on the International Day Against Homophobia.

Stools were actually thrown at protesters by men of the cloth, much like Jesus did somewhere in the Bible.

Call of Taburetka ('call of the stool') has already gone viral among Georgian users, but is facing increasing criticism, with calls from various organizations for the game to be pulled from Facebook.

The app's creator claimed his game wasn't meant to be homophobic. "i wanna say that this game isn't anti-gay this is for funny [sic]." Obviously, neither English nor common sense are this guy's strength.
