Teen homophobe banned from YouTube ... for life

YouTuber bannedCaiden Cowger is a young blowhard who wants to be the Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck of his generation. He would post his rants against liberalism and homosexuality on YouTube. These same rants were often removed by the site for violating its terms of use.

Well, he flaunted the terms once too often and is now banned from ever using the site. YouTube sent him the following e-mail:

We’d like to inform you that due to repeated or severe violations of our Community Guidelines, your YouTube account CaidenCowgerShow has been suspended. After review we determined that activity in your account violated our Community Guidelines, which state that hate speech is not acceptable on our site. “Hate speech” means content that promotes hatred or violence against members of a protected group (race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity). Please be aware that you are prohibited from accessing, possessing or creating any other YouTube accounts.

And the online world was, for a moment at least, a much nicer place.

Update: Sadly, all good things must end. It seems that a lifetime ban ain't what it used to be. Cowger is back online.

"After being "permanently" suspended and banned from YouTube for "hate speech," Caiden Cowger is back! YouTube unsuspended Cowger, stating that he was not in violation of their "hate speech" policy."

Sadly, YouTube doesn't have a policy against morons, otherwise the ban would have been maintained.
