Kid stands up to Westboro Baptist Church
A 9-year-old, tired of the hate being spewed by the Westboro Baptist Church, decided to display his own sign. It was small. It was handwritten. But it packed a punch.
The boys mother posted the photo of her son on Facebook and wrote: “After our walk around Washburn campus, we ran into the Phelps… Josef was determined to make his own statement so we went to the car and with pencil and his sketch pad, he made up his own little sign that reads “GOD HATES NO ONE”.
“I have never been prouder. Those people are scary but he stood strong, was respectful and stood by his convictions. He will be a good man, I have no doubt.”
“I stood up to the Westboro Baptist Church and there are some things I want to say about it," Josef explained. "One, why I did it: I hate those signs, I hate them and I want to stop them. Two, the way I feel about it is that I can do anything if you let me. And three, we should all respect each other, even if our ideas are not the same.”

Fifty Shades of Grey, by author E L James, is filled with bondage, spanking, and masochism. It has found its way to the #1 spot on the New York Times bestseller list and is currently the most talked about book in the media.
The novel is the first part of a trilogy that centers around the sadomasochistic relationship between characters Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. And yes, it has already been optioned by Universal Pictures so you'll get to see how Hollywood handles what is basically an x-rated novel.
Interestingly, the book is having some real world ramifications. In Britain, at least, people are becoming more sexually curious. Sex toy sales have increased, as have the number of people visiting sex clubs.
