Leo looks good green

No, he's not gay. But he's cute. And he's smart. And Leonardo DiCaprio is fighting for our planet's survival.

What started as a love for nature shows when he was a kid has blossomed into a passion for saving the environment. And Leo puts his money where his mouth is. He drives a hybrid car. He lives in a solar-powered home. He even sits on the boards of the Natural Resources Defense Council and Global Green USA.

He produced, co-wrote and narrated "The 11th Hour". The documentary explores our impact on the planet and includes the views of over 50 leading thinkers, visionaries and experts. The film also offers solutions to fixing the problems we created.

But as a movie star, he knows he lacks credibility in some people's eyes. He told US Magazine, "I am completely aware of the fact that my mere attachment - being someone from Hollywood - will garner a certain amount of skepticism and criticism. Why should we listen to this person?

"I want to pose myself as a concerned citizen, not an expert."
