Reading, writing and Ryan

Okay, he's only completed two articles so far, but actor Ryan Reynolds -- sometimes known as Alanis Morissette's ex -- is proving to be more than just a pretty face.

Writing for the Huffington Post, Reynolds offers his own quirky view on life, and steps away from the political banter for which the site is known. "The Clown God" talks about growing up with an accident prone, but overly mischievous brother, while "Competitive Eating" focusses on the skill involved in downing hotdogs and burgers in a speed-eating contest.

With lines like "grotesque displays of boundless, unapologetic shitheadery" Reynolds is far from a Shakespeare or Kafka. But, then again,  neither of them looked as hot without a shirt ...
