It should come as no surprise that men want to look like David Beckham. This man is hot! So when Armani chose the soccer star to model underwear for their latest campaign they knew they had a winner.

But would you believe this black and white photo is being credited for an increase in sales of white Armani briefs by 50 percent at stores in England? This is even more impressive when you consider the actual ads will not be appearing for another three months.

“David Beckham is a global style icon, appealing equally to men and women. Where he goes, fashion is bound to follow," argued David Walker-Smith.
